Technology to locate E911 callers and first responders with high accuracy, indoors, and vertically in high-rise buildings is available today for the public safety community. First responder organizations and other technology vendors will begin integrating this new capability and will soon understand how the adoption of 3D location positively impacts response times, dispatch efficiency, and emergency call outcomes.
Polaris Wireless is leading a panel titled ‘The Impact of 3D Location Technology on Public Safety and First Responders’ at APCO 2019, APCO International’s Annual Conference & Expo, the premier event for public safety communications officials. The speakers, including Eddie Reyes, Director of Public Safety Communications, Prince William County, Virginia, will provide a first-hand perspective on how first responders are benefiting from high accuracy location technology to improve the way they respond to emergencies. They will also discuss what 3D location technology is available today, and envisioned for the future.
