The Polaris location-based services solution was tested as part of Vodafone's 18-month evaluation of eight leading U.S. and European location technology providers. These trials are widely considered as the most comprehensive in the industry.
Vodafone evaluated each solution provider in two mobile networks covering rural, suburban, urban and dense urban environments. In all scenarios, Vodafone ranked Polaris Wireless among the leading group of technology vendors in terms of accuracy, and in many scenarios Polaris demonstrated the highest accuracy out of all vendors.
In addition, Polaris demonstrated close alignment with performance requirements specified by Vodafone in the context of commercial location-based services.
Polaris has been in multiple competitive blind trials around the world and secured deployments due to its demonstrated accuracy performance.
