E911 Phase II Network Optimization
Location Based Services Autonomous Monitoring

Drive testing is a costly and time-consuming but necessary task for every wireless operator. It's used for everything from competitive benchmarking, new site integration and radio propagation model tuning to troubleshooting, network optimization and product trials. The Polaris Wireless Autonomous Monitoring System (AMS) helps wireless carriers automate drive testing for WLS system deployment and maintenance, E911 accuracy verification testing and for targeted network optimization analysis in conjunction with Polaris' network optimization product platform. AMS can also be deployed as a stand-alone solution to automate other drive testing tasks or for fleet tracking purposes.

Wireless operators can use AMS to create more efficient route planning (and avoid unnecessary duplication), streamline the setup of data collection equipment and ensure efficient data collection techniques. The solution allows you to remotely manage the entire setup and operation of the drive test units so that the actual drive testing can be done more economically.

AMS is an intelligent back office software system running on standard servers that communicate over the air to remote, active Mobile Test Units (MTUs) — consisting of hardware and software that collect RF scanner data and active call data tagged with ground truths and time stamps.
