SANTA CLARA, CA — January 8th, 2007 —

Polaris Wireless, the inventor of Wireless Location Signatures (WLS)™, today announced that Chariton Valley Wireless Services and Long Lines Wireless will deploy Polaris technology to meet the Federal Communications Commission's Phase II E911 compliance requirements. These additional deployments will extend the Polaris product coverage footprint to 30 states.

After extensive field trials against hardware based network solutions, Chariton Valley Wireless Services selected Polaris WLS™ technology to install in its TDMA and GSM networks in Missouri, to enable public safety organizations to dispatch appropriate emergency assistance to subscribers and roamers.

Likewise, Long Lines Wireless will deploy a Polaris E911 solution in its GSM network in Iowa beginning Q1 of 2007. Deployment for Chariton Valley began in Q3 of 2006. The addition of these two carriers brings the Polaris products to 12 carrier networks covering more than 9,000 cell sites and 2.5 million square kilometers of the U.S.

With the software-only Polaris WLS™ products, carriers can deploy a city, a state or every site in the network quickly, covering an entire customer base without requiring handset changes. In addition, Polaris WLS™ requires no additional hardware or backhaul for cell sites, dramatically reducing capital expenditures, deployment timeframes and
maintenance costs for wireless carriers.

“We are delighted to be selected by two additional rural carriers that have done extensive comparison evaluations,” said Manlio Allegra, CEO of Polaris Wireless. “It’s especially gratifying to know that millions of wireless customers in the US are covered byPolaris technology if they place an emergency call.”
