Company History
In 1999 Polaris assembled a team of experts to invent a breakthrough software-based system for highly reliable, cost-effective handset location. The team combines seasoned, successful executives with engineers who have technical expertise in signal processing, radio propagation, wireless network architecture and operations, and algorithm development.

In 2003 Polaris succeeded in creating and deploying the first and only software-based Public Safety location product that meets FCC E911 Phase II requirements. Today Polaris is generating commercial revenue from wireless service providers in North America . Polaris is backed by Silicon Valley-based Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Draper Richards and Los Angeles-based Centre Palisades and has a business model that enables the company to be self-funded as it grows.
